Another blow has been struck at the Jews in Jassy. The Mayor of that town has decided that all repairs to school buildings shall no longer be entrusted to Jewish contractors. Nearly half the population of Jassy consists of Jews, most of whom are artisans and tradespeople and from whom therefore the town derives a large part of its revenues.
