BUCHAREST: Those who died in the Bucharest Pogrom of 1941 were commemorated at a ceremony conducted by Rabbi Moses Rosen, the Chief Rabbi of Romania, at the Choral Temple. During the pogrom, Jews were slaughtered and their bodies hung in the slaughterhouse bearing the inscription “Kosher meat.” Mr Zvi Brosch, the Israeli Ambassador to Romania, and other members of the Israeli Embassy staff, attended the ceremony.
